Welcome to our latest adventure, Headin' West.  We left on Wednesday, May 13, beautiful day; sunny and hot--heading for St. George Island State Park in the panhandle.  As we were driving through Orlando, I noticed the transmission temperature was above normal.  So, we slowed down to 55 and that helped.
We got to Cross City and the skies opened up-Geesh!

We drove to Perry and stopped at a Cat dealer to see if they could help with our over heating 

tranny.   They were helpful;  but, said we had to go to Tallahassee to the Allison Transmission dealer-- off we went to Tallahassee.   Got a spot in a RV park.

Thursday:  up early - off to the dealer- a long line of big trucks ahead of us!!

Fixed our  transmission. (Break out another thousand)  Needless to say it took the day! We opted to go back to the RV park  so Karen  could watch Grey's Anatomy and Scandal)
