HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

Took a ride down to the "coolest" town of

Bandon, OR.

Quaint downtown on the Coquille River

 Coquille Light

 The Fog is rolling in

 So, we went downtown, checked out the shops,

and had lunch--salmon fish and chips-yummy

 After lunch drove back out to the beach

and walla the sun was out

 Elephant Rock

beautiful place

tomorrow headin' north on the coast highway

hope to find a spot, inland the temperatures

in triple digits--everyone's going to the coast

COOS BAY, OREGON JUNE 24

 Traveling north on scenic Highway 138 around

the Crater Lake area, passed Diamond lake,

then turning west to the coast.

Perhaps one of the prettiest roads we have been on.

 Mt Thielsen

 Following the Umpqua River all the way

Weaving and winding-glad we were going down

from the mountains-not climbing most of the way.

  

There's a covered bridge-get a snap-hurry up!

 Traveling south to Charleston, Oregon and

Oceanside RV Park

Crossing the draw bridge 

 To the beach!!

Wow it's fine sand and driftwood-

no shells here. 

Bugs biting? 

Sand dance?

Really calm in this cove-note the fog is rolling in. 

 Sunset Bay 

You can barely see the two boats coming into port

 

Look, Look at the base of the big rock  

 Seals and Sea Lions out there

 Boy, what a noisy group!

 Hiking again-

Come on Buzzy it's just a short way down.

Well, I thought I could see the seals better

from here.
