OH NO the scenic coast road is CLOSED!
HOW ARE WE GOING TO TURN AROUND?
Made it to the lighthouse...just enough room to
turn -WHEW -
Landslides closed the road further North
Cape Meares Light
near Tillamook, OR
This is the shortest light on the Oregon coast- 38ft,
but situated on a high cliff.
You can take the steam engine train up the coast;
but, we had just as many thrills on the road.
We're going the same speed-she's gaining on us
up the Mountain.
