MT. RANIER JULY 3

Today, we drove to Mt. Rainier National Park
 Passing through the quaint little town of Elbe,
where the Mt Rainier Scenic Railroad begins its 
excursion to Mineral Lake  
 The HOBO INN
Lodging in individual cabooses, some with cupolas
and jetted tubs, adjacent to a railroad dining car.
$ 115.00 a night
 Restaurant in dinning car 
 Elbe Evangelisch Lutherische Kirche
built by German immigrants in 1906
18x24 Still in use today
 Get'n  Up Steam 
 Yup-lots of people.  We drove right in with our
Senior Pass
 Totally dried up river beds

 Mt Rainier






 Tour bus like the ones in Glacier and Yellowstone
no longer operating

 Glacial Steam
not clear because of the silt
