We drove south today to Medford, OR and to
the historic town of Jacksonville, OR.
We walked the town, window shopping and
found out that they have a lavender festival
with fields of lavender.
Off we went, but could only find a few
farms with flowers. We were expecting great
fields of purple.

Driving back to Farewell Bend Campground,
we stopped at the Rogue River Gorge near our
campsite.

Very interesting seeing rapid water flowing
out from under the ground.
